The Mulliken Area Food Pantry is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents of Eaton County. Our primary objectives are:
A. To provide emergency food and personal care items to community members in need within our designated service area. Our distribution aims to alleviate hunger and poverty.
B. To acquire, through donation or purchase, adequate food, supplies, and funding to sustain pantry operations.
C. To uphold an ethos of dignity and respect in engaging with all clients. Our choice-based model empowers clients to select preferred food items.
D. To implement an inclusive service policy open to all populations. We do not discriminate based on gender, race, ethnicity, age, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, income, disability, or health status. First-time and returning clients alike may access assistance upon request.
E. To undertake fundraising and community engagement efforts that further our mission. Our community events are designed to foster inclusivity and a sense of belonging, encouraging all members to participate and support one another.
The Mulliken Area Food Pantry remains committed to improving the lives of Eaton County residents facing food insecurity. We will continue serving our community with integrity, compassion, and respect, ensuring that everyone feels valued and included.
